Meet The Face Behind The Effective Syndicate
I’m Beau Groover, the proud owner of The Effective Syndicate.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I worked for several companies as an internal coach for over two decades, serving the likes of Nordson Corporation, Westrock, and The Coca-Cola Company. It made me fall in love with improving things for organizations.
Along the way, I realized that the workforce in manufacturing and operations companies are salt of the earth people with impeccable moral values, a good work ethic, and a strong sense of community.
However, I also encountered over-worked employees who were tired, frustrated, and under-appreciated. This negative energy was spilling over into all areas of their lives and often affected their families.
Therefore, I wanted to break the cycle by helping these people experience a more enjoyable environment at work and also when they got home to their spouses and children. So I decided to launch a business coaching enterprise in July 2015.
Since starting my business, I’ve taken on two leadership partners who have helped me look for fresh ways to satisfy customers. We draw from each other’s experiences to refine processes.
As a flat organization, it enables us to stay nimble and responsive, so when a client requires a solution, we quickly respond with an answer that allows them to move forward. It includes focusing on helping entrepreneurs turn a corner by improving teamwork and building bulletproof strategies. To achieve this objective, we add several avenues of development training to change their perspectives while offering a collaborative approach.
Our Vision statement is “Run to your potential,” which encapsulates the fundamental business philosophy we prescribe for manufacturing and operations firms. Therefore, we wake up running and teach our clients to own the outcome, operate transparently, and burn the ships. We also show clients how to do the right things in the right way.
We believe that as human beings, we are all hard-wired to accomplish great things in life. Therefore, we synergize with people that identify with our vision. We show them that excellence is possible and provide an unrelenting push towards it both personally and professionally. This approach is infectious to our clients, as they feel it, embrace it, and it helps them grow.
As a result, it allows us to retain happy clients. For example, my first client is still with me, and his business is breaking records regularly. I don’t take credit for the success, but I take credit for being part of the success. After all of these years, I’m more vested than ever before in my clients’ accomplishments, and they see me as part of their team, which is rewarding.
When I’m not consulting companies, I love spending quality time with my family in Atlanta, traveling, playing with my kids, working out, and taking karate classes.
As an organization, we also support two charitable causes. The first is Wounded Warriors, which helps veterans deal with life after active duty. We want to help those who have given so much for our country as we are grateful for their sacrifices.
The second group is a Christian-based charity in Atlanta called Safehouse Outreach. It’s designed to help those who are experiencing homelessness. It helps them get support to deal with their situations with dignity and gives them the opportunity to change the narrative.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
